Restoration and Beautification
Dedicated to the Preserving the Past to Educating the Future
The All Faiths Restoration and Beautification Program Inc., which was developed in 2002 to raise funds in order to preserve, maintain and restore area(s) of Historical Interest within the grounds of the All Faiths Cemetery, which include the several hundred Civil War Heroes interred within our Civil War Posts as well as Spanish American War Heroes and many other points of interest. In 2003, we were granted under the IRS tax code section 501C3 the ability to receive funds (FULLY TAX DEDUCTIBLE CONTRIBUTIONS) from the general public and other corporate entities to assist in the Preservation and maintenance of such Public Burial Grounds that contain area(s) that are currently without funds and are of Historic value. In order to Not be a burden upon the Community and/or the State of New York for the Restoration and Beautification of these area(s) this NOT-FOR-PROFIT Corporation was established.
Having celebrated our 155th year of existence, we have vigorously worked over the last 15 years, to maintain and clean up our establishment to a ‘Park Like Atmosphere” where people are encouraged to visit. Home to many animals not seen in other areas of new York City, it is not uncommon to see rabbits, pheasants and various other small animals. With 225 acres of grass, Memorial Architecture and Statuary dating back over 150 years, more often than not you will see members of the community on the ground enjoying the smell of fresh cut grass, reading inscriptions and sketching the landscape highlighted by the Memorial Architecture.
